Status of the Issue Occurring in iOS 18
Please update to the latest version of the app. You can check your current version in the top right corner of the settings screen.
- The issue where songs could not be added to the tempo program and setlist was fixed in Version 15.2.
- The issue with the tuning meter not functioning properly was resolved in Version 15.1.
Q1. No sound:
Common issue: connected to Bluetooth earphones like AirPods. Try turning off Bluetooth. Sometimes, sound stops when returning to the parking lot. Ensure the volume isn’t zero. If still no sound, tap the speaker icon above the START button to adjust the volume. If there’s an X mark, it’s muted.
Q2. Ads showing after payment:
Smart Metronome & Tuner has a free version with ads and a paid version without ads. Start the app with the “70” icon for the ad-free version. The “60” icon version has ads.
Q3. Tuner not working:
Likely due to the microphone permission not being granted. Go to “Settings” > App settings > “Metronome” and enable the microphone.
Q4. How to delete recorded sound on Tuner:
The app doesn’t have a delete function. Each new recording overwrites the previous one, so record a brief silence to erase the last recording.
Q5. Saving custom rhythms:
Not possible. Custom rhythms are intended for immediate use. Future updates may include this feature.
Q6. Setting irregular time signatures:
Add a song name from the menu (MENU > ALL tab > “+” to add). For both “Fixed Tempo” and “Program,” create the time signature by combining blue buttons on the input keyboard.
Q7. Adding 2/2 time signature:
Functionally the same as 2/4. Use 2/4.
Q8. The App Store shows dots under the metronome counting the beats my app doesn’t display the dots please tell me how to turn that feature on.
Please set the time signature like 3/4, 4/4. The dots will not be displayed in 1/4 time.
